Breast Revision Surgery for Correction of Double Bubble Deformity Tampa, Florida*

This patient in her late 20s had a history of submuscular breast augmentation with textured silicone implants by another plastic surgeon. She came to us for correction of a double bubble deformity and some minor asymmetry. Additionally, she wanted to go from a full C or small D cup to a full D cup. She chose to undergo removal of her existing breast implants, capsulotomy of bilateral breasts, left breast capsulorrhaphy for double bubble correction, and reaugmentation with Sientra Textured Round Moderate Plus Profile Silicone Gel Breast Implants. A 525 cc silicone implant was placed submuscularly on the right side, and a 485 cc silicone implant was placed submuscularly on the left side for correction of mild breast asymmetry.
