Brow Lift, Tummy Tuck / Abdominoplasty, Face Lift, VASER® Liposuction / LipoSelection, Breast Reconstruction, Neck Lift - I had 2 separate surgery experiences with Dr O'Brien. He listened to what I wanted, made recommendations that were better for me. His bedside manner is excellent. His staff is outstanding and friendly. I was able to visit pre-op and post-op many times without being charged. I felt I was in the best care, and my results are wonderful. I highly recommend! Deep plane facelift and brow lift. VASER® Liposuction / LipoSelection, Mommy Makeover, Breast Implant Revision / Exchange, Tummy Tuck / Abdominoplasty - All of the staff from start to finish were extremely kind & knowledgeable. The doctor took his time - provided background to his education, experience, and gave real issues that he has come across throughout his career. He is patient, and explains everything in plain language trying to fully understand the patient, their requests or visions and applying them to what is possible in modern medicine. At the end of my initial consultation, I was invited to see and tour his entire facility including the onsite operating room, recovery room and anything else I wanted to see for myself to establish full trust that once I became a patient - I would be in good hands with no area off limits to see where my experiences would take place. This type of open invitation provided comfort in knowing when I was under medication provided by an anesthesiologist, I would have already seen where everything would take place and have the comfort of familiarity. I would highly recommend this doctor and his practice for any type of plastic surgery that he offers. Although, I had a hiccup in my recovery and contracted an infection while not in the surgeon's care, he was with me every step of the way to ensure I not only recovered but also, came out stronger than before. I had some major procedures, so my full recovery will take time - I am confident Dr O'Brien and his staff will remain by my side during the complete journey. I will continue to go back for additional less difficult procedures for years to come! More

I am no stranger to plastic surgery, and have had several procedures done on my body over many years, both invasive and non-invasive (breast reduction, augmentation, liposuction, botox, coolsculpting, etc.), but I was afraid to do anything to my face. I'd had an accident in my 20s that left one eyebrow much lower than the other, and my eyelids both looked heavy, prompting people to ask me all the time if I was tired.I started looking into what I could do to improve the tired appearance and level out my eyebrows in November 2018. I met with Dr. O'Brien as part of that, and he made several suggestions about what I could do, such as a brow lift and upper blepharoplasty, but he also did not pressure me to do anything. In addition, I asked about ultherapy, another non-invasive treatment. Dr. O explained that I was not a candidate for the treatment because I have a pacemaker, and he would not even consider it (which I respect and appreciate). So I stuck with Botox for the time.I did look into a few other local surgeons in St. Pete. I was frustrated that their websites lacked information about the most modern ways to perform the procedures, and when I tried to reach out to some of them, I either could not get through, didn't get a response, or if I did get a response, it was like I was an inconvenience. It was no question that I was going back to talk to Dr. O'Brien.My husband had been very against my doing anything to my face, and when I told him I was considering the brow lift and blepharoplasty suggested by Dr. O'Brien, he agreed to at least come with me to the 2nd consult (mostly to try to talk me out of it). Once we got there, Dr. O explained the entire process to both of us, and answered all the questions my husband had. One of our concerns was that I would look overdone or have that "duck face" look. Dr O'Brien explained how I would really look like myself, just more awake with better symmetry, and that is exactly what happened. I had a brow lift and upper blepharoplasty in his beautiful and comfortable surgical center in St Pete. I had laser resurfacing at the same time, and my skin looks beautiful.The follow-up care with Dr. O'Brien and his staff was spectacular. They are all so friendly and welcoming, and they entire staff works together to make sure I can maintain my results. I strongly recommend Dr. O'Brien to anyone who is considering a plastic surgery procedure. More

I am 100% pleased with the service and treatment I have received with Dr. O'Brien. I was impressed from the first consult. His #1 concern is the safety of his patients and he is very honest. He takes his time to explain things thoroughly and answers all questions. The office staff is very efficient and friendly. They all make you feel very comfortable. Appointments run on time. Amazing Tummy Tuck & Lip Experience, Life Changing - Finally made a decision for Tummy tuck & VASERlipo after 30 years of being unhappy. Major weight loss and two vertical c-sections I was very self conscious of my tummy. My loose skin would hang doing planks & muscles weren't attached. This surgery has been life changing. Recovery little harder than expected, but at 12 weeks I am back at the gym, still a little swelling. Very pleased with my results.Updated on 27 Oct 2017:I'm loving my new tummy at 12 weeks. I feel great mostly but getting back into my full workout has been a challenge. Pushups are on the knees after 3-4, plank hold down to 15-30 sec. Keeping it light on weights and started interval training 60:30 up to 3 miles. Listening to my body and when I feel any pain or discomfort I stop. Feeling like I may have gained a couple of pounds but staying clear of scales. I do know that my waist fluctuates depending on swelling. Considering I'm 57 years old, I think I'm doing great! I wouldn't change a thing. More
